Description
Arundel Plantation is situated along the Great Pee Dee River near Georgetown, South Carolina. The plantation dates back to 1717 and is said to have been named after Arundel Castle on the Arun River in Sussex, England. Rice was the primary crop grown during the heyday of the plantation era. The entire property was placed under a conservation easement in 2005.
