Description
Silver Dew Winery is located in the building that was originally constructed as the "wick house" for the Bloody Point Lighthouses. Wick houses were used to store oil, wicks and sometimes the lamps for the lighthouses. Arthur "Papy" Burns begand making wine from grapes, elderberries and other fruit in the early 1950s.
