Love this! What a charming and so fitting Christmas tree for New England. What is more Maine than 'lobstah"? To use the pots to create a Christmas tree is so creative and the lights add such cheer to the dark New England nights. Favorite for sure! Hope this was entered in every Christmas contest!

Artist's Description

At first, lobsters were gathered by hand along the shoreline. The workers who operated these shellfish-friendly vessels were known as smackmen. It was not until the mid-19th century that lobster trapping, also first practiced in Maine, became a more popular way to collect the sea creatures. (history.com)

Through my photography, I strive to capture that same sense of wonder we feel when exploring the big, wide world beyond our windows along with bringing a feeling of...
